Electricity has been and always important to our world. Since the discovery of electricity and inventions of some technologies, we have been dependent to certain appliances like, washing machines, air conditioners, electric fans and many more. And what enables them to run is something called electricity.

Electricity is one form of energy. Electricity is produced by the flow and movement of electrons. In terms of physics, every matter consists or is composed of atoms, and an atom, like most matter, has a center and it is called a nucleus. A nucleus is made up of charged positive particles that are called protons and the uncharged particles are called neutrons. An atom's nucleus is surrounded by particles that are negatively charged called electrons. Negative charges of electrons are equal to the positive charges of protons, and the numbers of electrons in an atom are normally equivalent to the numbers of protons. When the force that is balancing protons and electrons gets disturbed by a force from the outside, an atom losing or gaining an electron is what the result is. When electrons are separated from an atom or it gets lost, that is the time an electric current is produced.

Electricity is a fundamental element of nature and has been one of the most generally used forms of energy. We acquire electricity, an energy source in a supportive way, from changing other sources of energy such as natural gases, coals, nuclear powers, oils and other primary sources, mainly called natural sources. A lot of towns and cities have been developed near waterfalls so they could be able to harness its natural sources, converting it to electricity.

Using natural electricity is the greatest way to conserve and save money. A lot of people have been investing their money by purchasing and making their own solar panels and windmills. Solar panels and windmills convert the energy from natural sources like the wind and the sun's heat therefore producing their own electricity. The electricity they get from the said energy systems are just the same as what they get from electric companies.

The greatest benefit that you will get from having your own energy system is without having to pay any electric companies. If you have converted a great amount of electricity from natural sources using your own energy systems, then the more electricity there is for you to use, or you can give or sell the extra power that you have to other residents and make money from it. Gaining greater compensations from your energy system will depend on how abundant you convert natural sources to electricity.
